This article explains how to configure Bottom Navigation (Tabbar) in Speedix CMS, and why it directly affects user retention and deposit conversion.
What We’re Building
Before opening the CMS, let’s define the target outcome.
A bottom navigation bar that:
- Is always visible on mobile
- Contains only 4–5 high-frequency tabs
- Prioritizes revenue-driving verticals
- Enables instant action (Search, Sports, Casino)
- Reduces friction and increases bet frequency

What This Looks Like in the CMS
To generate the exact bottom navigation above, your CMS configuration must reflect the same order and enable state.
Below is the completed configuration view.

Key Principle
- Tab order in CMS = Tab order on frontend
- Enable toggle = Visibility control
- Link Type = Behavior control
If CMS structure is wrong, mobile experience is wrong.
How to Achieve This Configuration
In:
CMS → Home Page Config → Bottom Navigation

Always confirm the correct Operator. Editing the wrong instance is a common operational error.
Just like Sidebar:
- Default Config is read-only
- You must switch to Custom Config
- You must click Apply Configuration after editing

Never skip Apply.
What Is Bottom Navigation (Tabbar)?
Bottom Navigation is:
- Always visible on mobile
- Limited to 4–5 key tabs
- Designed for high-frequency actions
Unlike Sidebar (which can hold many categories), Bottom Navigation must be minimal and strategic.

Let’s break down how each works.
1. Sport — Margin Shortcut
If sportsbook drives margin, Sport must remain visible.
Mobile betting behavior: Fast → Direct → Repetitive.
Never bury high-frequency betting behind layers.
2. Casino — Retention Engine
Usually routes to: Slot lobby or game discovery.
If slots drive retention, this tab must be accessible in one tap.
Bottom Navigation = Speed of access.
3. VIP — Retention Signal
VIP in bottom nav signals: This platform values high-tier players.
But if early-stage without strong VIP liquidity, placing it too early may dilute focus.
Position strategically.
Bottom Navigation vs Sidebar (Strategic Difference)
Sidebar = Structure & Bottom Navigation = Behavior
Sidebar:
- Many categories
- Detailed segmentation
- Deep hierarchy
Bottom Navigation:
- Limited tabs
- High-frequency actions
- Immediate conversion triggers
Why Bottom Navigation Impacts Revenue
Now that the structure is clear, let’s understand why it matters financially.
Tap → Bet → Leave or Tap → Scroll → Leave

Bottom Navigation reduces friction. Friction reduction increases:
- Session time
- Click depth
- Bet frequency
- Deposit probability
In gambling platforms, small UX friction = large revenue loss.
Appendix: Tabbar Field Reference
Each Bottom Navigation item supports:
- Display Name
- Icon Type
- Highlight Toggle
- Enable/Hide
- Link Type (Internal/External/Action)
- Custom Color
These are UI control fields. But remember: Fields are tools. Strategy determines structure.
Reminder
Click Apply Configuration.

Final Thoughts
Speedix CMS gives you structural flexibility. Bottom Navigation is a revenue prioritization logic and a retention signal system.
If you are serious about building a sustainable online gambling platform, do not treat bottom navigation as decoration. Treat it as your revenue engine.
